WATCHDOG MULTI-FUNCTION PERFORMANCE GAUGE
Bully Dog's WatchDog Fuel Economy Monitor combines a powerful digital gauge set with a state-of-the-art fuel economy driving coach.
After about 500 miles of city driving and 5,000 mile of highway driving (about half of which towing a 28-foot, 5,500-pound travel trailer) 4xGuard sums up its experience with the WatchDog: The WatchDog is an excellent engine monitor that easily plugs into the OBDII port (minor trimming of the plastic surround is necessary) and provides analog and digital data for something like 20 engine functions, including turbo boost (the main reason I got the unit), as well as coolant temperature and exhaust temperature, which I thought would be helpful data for trailer towing. There are several color options and you can determine which of four functions you want to monitor. The driving coach alone is worth the price, effectively teaching you how to drive in a more fuel efficient manner.

The WatchDog™ works on all 1996 and later vehicles with an OBDII port. (Monitoring parameters rely on sensors that your vehicle was equipped with from the factory; not all vehicles have all listed options available.)
