- Replaces the OEM molded plastic rocker-panel element and is designed to for increased vertical and lateral protection during hard-core rock crawling or trail riding.
- Design increases OEM ground clearance at the rocker panel by about 1.25 inches, blends with vehicle lines, and includes body-hugging end caps.
- Designed with ease-of-entry in mind: top of guard extends about 1.5 inch out from bottom of door while bottom of guard extends about 2 inches out from bottom of door. This angled surface not only makes vehicle egress easier but also tends to enhance vehicle appearance (as opposed to a flat surface that would have little "character").
- Design provides an 8-inch wide, continuous sliding surface on its underside, as well as notches front and rear for more secure emergency vehicle lifting with a HiLift-type jack.
- Laser-cut 10 gauge plate steel, plus an internally-welded 10 gauge "stiffener" (i.e. 10 ga X 2=0.44 inches thick) for longitudinal strength, as well as 3 full gussets and 2 end caps that are welded in for increased lateral strength. Each slider unit weighs over 40 pounds--they are massive and very tough.
- All materials are powder-coated in textured semi-gloss black.
- Product includes two one-piece slider assemblies, two 52-inch mounting stiffeners, six spacers, all mounting hardware (24 nuts/bolts and a nut-insert installation tool), instructions, and sticker.
- Easy bolt-on installation involves 12 mounting bolts per side, 6 of which require minor drilling and installation of nut inserts.
