Sample Wall Anchor (Drywall Anchor)
This product, or one like it, can be used to fill the oversized, square tail-light mounting holes on 2007+ Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jeep Commander models in order to install the Aries Tail Light Guards. To use in the large holes they first need to be shortened by cutting off about ½ inch from the lower (narrow and pointed) end. This must done so they can go all the way into the hole without making contact with metal behind the hole and thus not fully tighten into the Jeep’s body. Once shortened simply screw into each hole and use the included sheet metal screws to secure the tail light guard as per the product’s instructions. |
