We have been avid four-wheelers for many years, and we have owned a number of four-wheel drive vehicles (from CJ-5s to Broncos of various sizes to 4Runners to Grand Cherokees).  Over the course of those years we have adopted a philosophy that you can have great off-road performance and a good-looking rig at the same time.

Soon after acquiring our 2005 Grand Cherokee we removed the very quickly damaged front air dam and added a front skid plate, something we had done to several previous vehicles.  We liked this addition as it was functional, added to the off-road image of the vehicle, and (frankly) made the rig look more unique.  It turned out that due to a number of unforeseen circumstances the vehicle got some national exposure and we began getting a number of inquires about a source for this skid plate.  Initially, we  tried to ignore the requests, but we eventually succumbed to an interest in making this "product" the foundation of a business venture.  Thus 4xGuard was born.

We are proud of our products, each of which has been designed based on our long-term experiences four-wheeling and has survived the rigors of our ventures into the backroads of Utah and Colorado (our favorite part of the business, in fact).  Feel free to send us an email on your experiences with our products, and include a photo or two if you don't mind it being a part of our gallery.
